Attendance confirmations – so that you may know who’s actually coming
When we produce a wedding event and invest so much in its success, we want to ensure that all of the invitees who received our special wedding invitations actually attend the planned event. In some cases we want to know whether the invitee has special menu preferences or any other specific requests.
One respectable way to communicate with the invitees is through an RSVP card. If you ever asked yourself what stands behind the acronym RSVP, it is the French phrase répondez s’il vous plaît, freely translated as “respond please”.
An RSVP card is a card sent out with the wedding invitation, asking the invitees to confirm their attendance at the event.
In some cases, the number of people attending or information regarding the invitees’ menu preferences may be included in the response.
The RSVP card brands the event as a prestigious affair and adds a touch of splendor to the occasion. Additionally, it enables us to obtain the invitees’ response and receive information regarding the expected number of guests at the wedding (for cost savings vis-à-vis the venue and/or caterer).
The branding of the wedding continues through such complementary items as custom-designed serviette rings, ornaments for wine glasses with the personal signature of the bride and groom, custom-designed menus of the dinner being served and custom-designed table numbers.
All of the branding products bearing the personal signature of the bride and groom are intended for the guests, who take these items home as a memento of the wedding.
