עברית The wording of the wedding invitation and the amount of information we decide to include in it are important elements in the design and appearance of the invitation.
Such essential information as the wedding venue, date and time of the wedding ceremony must be included in the invitation in a clear and easy way to understand form, along with the couple’s names and the names of the parents of the bride and groom.
Additional information may include a greeting to the invitees or details regarding the character of the event. In some cases, the couple may choose to include a quotation from the Scriptures or from a poem, to announce the love they share.
There are various formulations for wedding invitations: formulations for a classic invitation, religious formulations, modern, contemporary formulations or traditional formulations. In many cases, an existing formulation may be used with revisions and modifications entered according the couple’s preferences.
